European Institute of Oncology (IEO)

The European Institute of Oncology (IEO) has a worldwide reputation in cancer treatment.

The basic research activities of IEO are carried out at the Department of Experimental Oncology (DEO). This is located on a campus that also hosts the European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM), the FIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology (IFOM), and the Center for Genomic Science of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). DEO is currently composed of about 250 scientists, 15 Group Leaders and 2 Unit Directors.
